![]() ![]() ![]() Anyways, I took the usual steps of repairing my game, checking for glitched/corrupted custom content, adjusting my graphics settings, and the effect remained. I can provide images of and more information on the visual effect I'm talking about, of course. Like I said before, I have never gotten a visual effect like this before, and I haven't been able to find any instance of a similar case while searching online. Basically, on objects in the game that have a metal or glass texture, I get a strange lighting/reflection effect. ![]() These specs are all above the required and/or recommended specs for running The Sims 4. currently running OS Catalina, version 10.15.2.3.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 processor.But within the last two months, I noticed an issue while playing The Sims 4, and I think I've narrowed it down to a problem with my computer or its capabilities. Since I got the machine a little over two years ago, all of my programs have run very well and I've been able to play any games at high/ultra graphics settings (including World of Warcraft). I'm running The Sims 4 on my iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017). So please bear with me - I've been looking for help with this issue for over a month now and I just really need someone to help walk me through what might be going on. I'm not 100% clueless when it comes to computers but I'm certainly no expert. Apologies in advance for any seemingly stupid questions I might ask. ![]()
